Veneers

Dental veneers can change the look of your smile. They are made of thin porcelain and bonded to the front of your teeth, changing their color, shape, size or length. Your gum line can also be slightly adjusted with the use of our laser, giving you an even and beautiful smile!

Teeth Whitening

As we age and consume things like coffee, tea, cigarettes, red wine and berries, our teeth can start to discolour and become darker or stained. We can help! 

During our teeth whitening process, custom whitening trays will be made to fit your teeth specifically. A higher concentration whitening gel will then be provided for you to wear and use in the comfort of your own home. After about 2 weeks, your teeth can be up to 8 shades whiter!

Invisalign

Teeth that are out of alignment, slightly crooked or have relapsed after orthodontics can be corrected using Invisalign technology. Custom, clear trays are worn all day to shift your teeth into a straighter position. 

The benefit of Invisalign is that you can remove the aligners to eat the foods you love, as well as brush and floss regularly. Each person’s case is unique, which is why we take impressions of your teeth to ensure the best fit for your aligners. Invisalign creates digital images to show us your projected outcome and how long the treatment will last. 

Once completed, retainers are recommended to maintain your final smile.

Deprogrammer

If you’re a clencher, have trouble biting together, have chipped and worn teeth or are experiencing headaches, jaw pain, clicking or locking, a deprogrammer could be part of your solution! Similar to a retainer, a deprogrammer fits along your upper hard palate and is worn all day for a week to a month. It has a single point of contact, not allowing your back teeth to touch or jaw to clench together. This lets the muscle relax and “deprogram” their movement patterns. Once this is achieved, the dentist can determine the root cause of the dysfunction and work with you to correct it.

TMJ Botulinum Injections

For those with severe muscle aches, pains and spasms from clenching and grinding, muscular injections can be a great option. Botulinum toxin is injected into selected areas of your jaw muscles, causing them to relax and contract less and thereby alleviating the symptoms. Only the treated areas are affected by the injections and patients usually notice improvement within a day — although it typically takes up to a week to be fully relaxed.
Repeated injections to control the muscles are usually recommended on a case by case basis.

Facial Botulinum Injections

Your face and smile are the first things that others notice when meeting you. As we age, we can develop lines and grooves around our mouths, as well as around other facial areas such as the forehead and “laugh lines”. These are created by our muscles continually pulling and moving in the same way over a prolonged period of time.
Botulinum injections can ease these lines by relaxing the underlying muscles, giving the recipient a more “youthful” appearance. Eyes will seem wider and more alert and worry lines will fade. Your smile will also appear more joyful-looking, without the downward pull of the outer corners. 

The initial consultation and procedure can take up to 90 minutes and results can usually be felt within a day, with full effectiveness setting in after approximately 7-10 days.

Micro-Needling

Our faces lose collagen and tissue as we age, and micro-needling can encourage your body to produce more, naturally. It can treat various skin conditions such as aging, scarring, hyper-pigmentation, cellulite and hair loss and is safe for all skin types and colours. For your safety, our office uses the InnoPen system with disposable single-use needle cartridges, approved by Health Canada.

This dermal injection procedure is minimally invasive, the area is numbed prior to treatment, and requires no downtime. By using fine, sterile needles to puncture the skin, encourage collagen production and create micro-channels, we can deliver therapeutic serums to the dermal layer of your skin. The result is smoother, firmer, more toned skin, with improvement of lines, scars, wrinkles and large pores. It is mostly used on the face but can also be used to treat other areas of the body. Having youthful skin accentuates your smile and gives a youthful glow. For maximum effectiveness, 4 to 6 sessions, every 4-6 weeks, is recommended.

Laser Treatment for Cold Sores

Cold sores, or fever blisters, are caused by the herpes simplex virus. Our laser can treat the cold sore by destroying the virus that causes it, with relief being immediate. Treatment is most effective if completed when the lip first begins to tingle but can still arrest further development and speed healing at later stages. It only takes a few minutes and no freezing is needed.
